The 7168 is designed to be mechanically connected to the rudder stock, to feed back rudder angle position data to auto-pilots, rudder angle indicators and full follow-up control systems. 

The 7168 is a basic unit, with only 2 potentiometers and no switches or trim pots. It is constructed of bronze and stainless steel for marine environments and durability. Please ensure to specify the Ohms rating for the potentiometers when ordering. Standard rating is 1 K-ohm.
